The comprehensive announcement for the admission test of the first-year honors (honors) class in the 2023-24 academic year at Jahangirnagar University (JU) has been published. The admission test will commence on February 22 and will continue until February 29.
Prospective students seeking admission can apply online on the university's admission website (juniv-admission.org) for various departments and institutes from January 14 to January 31.
In a meeting of the Central Admission Test Conducting Committee at the university on Tuesday, a decision was made, as informed by the Secretary and Deputy Registrar (Education) of the Central Admission Test Conducting Committee, Syed Mohammad Ali Reza.
According to the decision of the Central Admission Test Conducting Committee, the application process for admission to the university will begin on the website from January 14 and will continue until January 31. The final schedule for the admission test will be determined based on the application for unit-based admission after the completion of the application process.
He further mentioned that separate examinations for different units will be conducted on February 22, 25, 27, 28, and 29. Whether the shift method will be implemented depends on the number of applicants.
In accordance with the decision of the Central Admission Test Conducting Committee, the application fee has been set at Tk 900 for A Unit (Mathematical and Physical Sciences Department and Institute of Information Technology), Tk 750 for B Unit (Social Sciences Department and Law Department), and Tk 600 for C1 Unit (Drama and Dramatics Department and Fine Arts Department).
However, for IBA-JU, students can apply online on the iba-ju.edu.bd website based on the educational qualifications mentioned in the published notice.
