Federal Republic of Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz has conveyed his congratulations to Sheikh Hasina on her re-election as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, marking her record fifth term and fourth consecutive term in office.
In a written letter to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, the Chancellor stated, "Congratulations on once again taking on the responsibilities as the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, a thriving democracy."
He added, "I wish you much strength and continued success in the days ahead of you in serving your nation. May your capabilities and overall achievements contribute significantly to the well-being of the people."
